About Me...	In 2005, when looking for an alternative to shoes for my young horse, a friend suggested I read “The Chosen Road” by KC La Pierre, founder of the Institute of Applied Equine Podiatry. I realised that here was a true alternative to the farrier art, based on sound theories, and providing a consistent, professional, in depth
educational programme as well as the opportunity for continual professional development. I was motivated to attend the Institute’s courses both in the UK and in the US, and I gained my Diploma in Applied Equine Podiatry in February 2007.
